Silvia “Thanks for a wonderful weekend.”
All good. Some specific things: You really need to give better instructions as to how to find the house. The email we received said 1 Moetu Lane, which is simply not correct. Thankfully the photos include a shot of the street view - without this we would have been quite lost. Two requests: Can you please get some warmer single duvets for the single room? The person in that room froze! Also, we would have appreciated a larger coffee plunger. Otherwise, all good, thanks so much!!

Janine “Super spacious home, with fabulous views.”
In hindsight I should of asked for more detail on the stairs as my 83 year old mum struggled with these, also the shower that she was going to use was over a bath which wasn’t an option for her which meant tackling the stairs to the downstairs one. Also the downstairs wall hallway light isn’t going - perhaps a new bulb is needed, which would have made the stairway easier to negotiate. But we had amazing weather so the deck was a lovely place to relax.
- Janine, February 2024Kim “Loved our stay and beautiful accommodation and views.”
Only feedback would be to improve signage re: house number, as arrived late and couldn’t find any house numbers. Also to better facilitate recycling. But love our stay. Highly recommend. Thanks.
- Kim, February 2024Carol “The house was lovely and suitable for our group.”
but we were very disappointed that the spa pool was not working. The spa pool was the reason we choose this house over others. The house is listed with a spa pool. There may have been text in the booking process that said that the spa pool is not working but I did not see this at the time. I don't think it is acceptable to list a house with a spa pool, including pictures of the spa pool, then just have some small print in the booking process saying that it is not working.
- Carol, June 2023Jenny “It was unfortunate that the spa was not working during our stay.”
This was very disappointing as it was one of the reasons we booked the property. Apart from this the house was very comfortable and worked well for us.

- Stephen, February 2023Michael “Thank you for allowing us to stay.”
Such a beautiful location and very comfortable house with plenty of room for the family. Would love to stay again!
- Michael, February 2023Conrad “A wonderful property, in a wonderful location.”
For our group everything we needed was at the house, with fantastic outdoor area to relax in, listen to the natural sounds, and take in the expansive views. Five stars from our party. *****
- Conrad, January 2023Emily “We had a wonderful stay!”
What a beautiful house in the bush and surrounding with bird sound. We loved the spa and the fireplace, the BBQ and the views. The kitchen was really well stocked. Only slight recommendation is to bring local rubbish bags - there were no rubbish bins or bags or recycling bin or compost bin which was difficult not knowing the local system (or knowing where to put rubbish). Otherwise a perfect stay!

!! Totally relaxed and enjoyed the home, the views, the spa, the village and the lake with all the family. Thank you very much
- Waimarama, September 2022Carole “This was my first time dealing with bachcare.”
I didn't care for their automated type correspondence. Nothing felt personalised. After two emails, someone finally answered my question as to if the spa would be working. They assured it would. When we arrived at 3 pm, it was cold. We couldn't use it until the following morning. Much disappointment all around. We were also disappointed about the "coffee machine". We had all brought coffee to use in the machine until we found it was a filter drip-type coffee dispenser. I think that's terribly misleading. Why repeat in your ad that you have a coffee machine when clearly it's not. However, with that said, we loved our stay and especially enjoyed watching the sunrise from the deck in the early morning. And we loved that there was more than one bathroom/toilet. Fantastic. Many thanks for having us.

- Katrina, November 2021Kate “A spacious comfortable house, with stunning views, set in a quiet street.”
We loved soaking in the spa and enjoyed the warmth of the fire during the brief cold snap. We think Pukawa Bay is a lovely area and this house is one of the best we have stayed in. Many thanks.
- Kate, October 2021Alana “This place looked great in the photos but wow!”
Really exceded our expectations. Beautiful house that is well equipt with stunning views. Loved being nestled into the trees, felt like we were in a tree house. Sitting in the spa listening to the birds in the evening was just wonderful. It's the perfect place to relax and unwind. We hope to come back here again.
- Alana, February 2021Melissa “Absolutely loved our stay.”
