Bill “Great presentation, clean, tidy, great linen.”
Only issue was when we arrived there was no key in the meter box. The elderly gentleman in the rear house had taken both keys thinking he needed one for the porch door, and one for the unit. Would be much safer if you had a lockbox for each unit with different codes. Two other small things, coffee plunger was only really a 1 cupper and the Coat hangers could be updated ( Cheap at Warehouse or Briscoes ) Feel free to publish first sentence.

Lance “Nice house in good location.”
Great to have parking for the boat and close to the ramp.
- Lance, January 2023Tim “My main concern was the standard of the beds in one of the rooms.”
We were 3 males on a fishing trip and the third bedroom (with the bunks in it) had uncomfortable beds. This was both the single bed and the lower bunk. These are totally unsuitable for an adult to sleep in. And of course very poor TV and no wi-fi - which one expects in accommodation of this price.
- Tim, October 2022Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. We are sorry that some of the beds were not suitable and this property does not offer wifi. Bachcare
Henry “Excellent cottage, well situated and would be more than happy to go back.”
Pukawa is lovely place and being at this bach helped make it a special weekend.
- Henry, August 2022Patricia “That owners and company advertising keep in contact.”
Key wasn’t where it was supposed to be.
- Patricia, July 2022Sandra “This was a great and comfortable little cottage for 3 adults and 2 children.”
We had a few walks to the beach with very fine black sand and pumice, which is perfect for young children.
- Sandra, July 2022Mark “A pleasant comfortable three bedroom home, the front unit of a duplex, and a good place for a couple or family to stay for a few days.”
Good value for money.
- Mark, April 2022Vanessa “Great little place to stay- very tidy, clean, basic, handy location, comfortable.”
Everything you need and nothing you dont. Highly recommend.
- Vanessa, April 2022Tina “Great house and location for a family holiday.”
We loved that its such a short walking distance to the lakeside beach and walking track to Omori.
- Tina, December 2021Tim “Comfortable and clean place with good access to the beach and boat ramp.”
It does not have Freeview TV as advertised, and one of the single beds is very soggy and not suitable for an adult.
- Tim, November 2021Yolanda “It’s like you’ve time travelled back to the 90’s.”
Furnishings and decor could do with an update/clean. Locals are very friendly and the area is quite secluded/safe.
- Yolanda, April 2021Kieran “Easy and very organized now stress”
- Kieran, January 2021Diana “Super location, but definitely not suitable for 8 people as the 3rd bedroom is not big enough and beds not sufficient.”
Tidy holiday bach
- Diana, December 2020Nancy “This is a great lockwood style home, it was perfect for our 5 grandchildren.”
Basic but comfortable, great access to the Lake. The village is known for its commitment to the native Bush and Birds so noise is mainly confined to nature. We woukd definitely return.
- Nancy, December 2019Jennifer “Great bach in an awesome location”
- Jennifer, January 2019Jo “Pukawa Bay is a wonderful place and the house is comfortable and in a pleasant location.”
Enjoyed our stay.
- Jo, December 2018Louise “This is a basic lake bach in pleasant surroundings.”
It is not dog friendly
- Louise, March 2018Thank you for the feedback! We have removed pet friendly as an option at this property. When you're looking for somewhere to take your furry friend, it's always good to search for 'inside welcome' - or check the amenities list for the fencing, as we always state if the property is fully fenced.
