Sitting on the deck the view is amazing. Everything we needed was there, even a little sewing kit for small repair jobs. Traffic was no problem because of double glazing. Will absolutely stay there again

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

Lake Edge Cottage is a rustic 2 bedroom absolute lakefront Waitahanui bach! With gorgeous views and fantastic position, this basic kiwiana bach is a great base for your next Taupo getaway as only 12 minutes drive to central Taupo! This Waitahanui bach in Taupo is casual and low key, with everything you need for a simple lake stay. The cosy lounge opens onto the deck to capture brilliant lake views for dining outdoors. There are 2 bedrooms at this Waitahanui accommodation, each is located off the lounge area. Bedroom 1 looks out onto the lake and is fitted with a double bed plus a single bed. Bedroom 2 is fitted with a double bed plus a single bunk set. There are 2 bathrooms at this Taupo accommodation. 1 bathroom is located indoors, and another is situated in the boat shed with outside access only. Just off the main highway, with boat parking on site, Lake Edge Cottage is an ideal option for those looking to spend days on the water! For a laid back lakeside holiday, Waitahanui welcomes you!
