Mo “Awesome location - easy walking distance to the town centre.”
Stairs were a bit steep, but it was a very clean and tidy property. Perfect for a weekend getaway.
- Mo, October 2021Anna “Lovely little bach, extremely well equipped, clean and just had everything we wanted for our little holiday with 2 kids.”
Would definitely come back.
- Anna, July 2021Jessica “As a family of four who wanted a short break to do some skiing, this holiday home was perfect!”
Close to amenities in Ohakune and fully equipped for self-catering while still close enough to visit both ski fields, we had a great time and will definitely book again! Many thanks!
- Jessica, July 2021Rebecca “Cosy and perfect little place for a couples stay.”
Had everything we needed and a well stocked kitchen full of supplies. Floor was a bit creaky and only mirror available was in guest bedroom. But overall a great stay! Great communication from bach manager. Would stay again.
- Rebecca, April 2021Nick “Good property - perfect for a short stay.”
Good communication from the Bachcare manager.
- Nick, October 2020Jennifer “This place was fabulous for a family holiday.”
- Jennifer, September 2020Sarah “The bach was comfortable, clean and fully equipped and the communication from Bachcare staff was outstanding.”
- Sarah, August 2020Jayson “The chalet is lovely and beautifully appointed.”
However stairs are incredibly steep and in no way suitable for the very young or infirm. The holiday manage was out of town and supposedly arranged for someone to fill in for her, but the key was not where it was supposed to be and when we finally got inside the burglar alarm went off and we were left waiting outside in the cold waiting for them to find the damned alarm code. Completely unacceptable.
- Jayson, October 2019We are very sorry that the relief Holiday Manager had not clarified where the keys would be. We appreciate this was not a good start to your holiday. However, we are glad you enjoyed your stay at the chalet. Although the steep stairs are in the special condition we will mention them in the main summary. Bachcare
Holly “What a fantastic place to stay for a mini ski get away with the kids.”
Nice comfortable beds and clean.Liz is an amazing property manager who made everything nice and easy.
- Holly, August 2019Ronan “Warm and cozy house.”
Although small has a lot of room and easy to keep clean.
- Ronan, July 2019Aaron “The house was nice, like, really nice, it was warm and all things needed for a self contained unit were there, unlike other places i've stayed it was nice to have things like coffee and dish liquid provided.”
it was a little bit annoying to book, you get emails from 5 different people all asking one detail each about who's staying, what they'll be wearing, and making sure you don't watch too much netflix on their wifi lest they charge you exorbitant rates per gb. the hot water was turned off when we got there which was super annoying. and bedding wasn't provided.
- Aaron, April 2019We are sorry to hear that booking the property was a difficult experience for you. We pride ourselves on our quick and efficient bookings system. WiFi is limited and we always want to advise guest of this prior to a stay so they do not get any nasty extra charge surprises. Although duvets are provided linen is an extra cost at this property. We are sorry to hear the hot water was not turned on at your arrival, but I trust your Holiday Manager rectified this quickly. Bachcare
