My six grandchildren and other family members have made awesome memories in the snow and were able to cozy up in a very nice home. We will be back :). The home had everything you could ever need, and the fireplace just added to the ambience of it all .

It was a perfect set-up for our group of 11. Plenty of different spaces for activities like games, watching TV etc. Showers were amazing. Would highly recommend for a large group visiting Ohakune.

Amanda “The Kune Crib was perfect for 3 families.”
The house was spacious enough to allow adults and kids to have separate spaces when needed but also big enough to hang together. It’s super close to everything you need in Ohakune (easy walking distance) and not far to drive to Turoa.

- Heather, July 2021Carly “Absolutely loved it.”
We had family gather from all over the north island and we’re very impressed with our accommodation. Fully Kitted kitchen so we were able to cook our dinners. House is sooo warm so don’t worry about being by the snow, when inside you would never know. We will be back for sure!!
- Carly, June 2021Sheryll “Loved this home.”
The fire and heat transfer system is so efficient plus there are heaters or panels in bedrooms. The sleeping is equally warm. We were a family group of 11 and had plenty of room. The great size kitchen worked well with our self catering for our special anniversary. From the dining room there was such an awesome view of Mt Ruapehu and autumn colors. We would definitely stay at Kune Crib again.
- Sheryll, April 2021JK “Great place to stay.”

- Pravin, December 2020Sally “The house was roomy and warm.”
...near town and the access to ski fields. We were a family group of 3 generations and the 3 bathrooms worked well. Excellent bedding and linen provided. Would definitely stay again....
- Sally, July 2020Michaela “The Kune Crib was the perfect house to have our family reunion, after lock-down.”
The house is large enough to hold large families, with everyone having their own space and a lot of areas to hang out and enjoy. We arrived to a very warm house, with all heaters on and even the fire place was set up ready to go. All the beds were very comfortable, with very clean duveys and pillows. The kitchen set-up was amazing, with so many glasses, cups and plates for everyone to use. Also an excellent location, being so close to town and wonderful walks. Plenty of parking for all of our cars and the sleepout was an extra bonus for our family. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a very clean, comfortable, warm home at an affordable price. We will definitely be back to stay in the Kune Crib.
