Madison “Beautiful whare, it was our first holiday away with our two nieces and nephew the house was everything and enabled us to keep the kids in routine while also being a large enough space for them to keep their distance and have a break from one another when in the house.”
Loved the setup as it felt like home. I was really shocked with how much was supplied I expected we would have to buy glad wrap and rubbish bags etc. but so much more was supplied and we were super grateful. Such awesome hosts! Thankyou for opening up your beautiful house. One thing I noted was the stove was very confusing for non-induction stove users. There was a pot in the drawer that I used and it wasn’t recognised by the stove and it wouldn’t work.. took almost 20mins to realise lol. The light bulb in the toilet blew, apologies I would have changed this if I knew prior to us leaving. Again, beautiful property we hope to visit again.
- Madison, January 2024Thank you so much for this wonderful feedback Madison. Our local team will provide some induction stove instructions for your next stay. We look forward to welcoming you back very soon! Bachcare

- Michael, September 2023Carmen “Fantastic accommodation, would highly recommend”
- Carmen, April 2023Richard “Lovely place to stay, a bit of road noise in the master bedroom but not too major.”
Really enjoyed the house and hope to stay again.
- Richard, December 2022Christine “The outer material on the pillows on the double bed in the spare room are disintegrating.”
They need replacing urgently. The place was generally very clean, however it would have been improved by some general dusting.
- Christine, November 2022Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback and we will address the issues raised. Bachcare
Sandra “We felt super special in your whare.”
I wish we could've stayed longer. The location was perfect for us.We had two elderly whanau members with us one wanted us to lock her in and throw away the key.And my dad wished he could've owed the whare so that's saying alot coming from these two whanau who never wanted for much in a way of material stuff.
- Sandra, October 2022Richard “Lovely house to stay.”

- Michelle, August 2021Gary “A very well appointed home in a quiet area.”
- Gary, July 2021Talia “Stunning, safe, spacious, warm home which easily housed 6 of us for the long weekend.”
Looks like a beautiful show home, inside and out but feels so comfortable, like it's your own home. 2 bathrooms, 1 each on opposite sides of the house was a life saver. Every amenity of a holiday house you could think of plus more. Only thing missing was a swimming pool but who needs it when the beach is right there and the hotpools are close too. Even city centre is close and theres a playground a few streets over, easy walk. We didn't want to leave and were sad our stay had come to an end. Even our holiday manager Grace was lovely and easy to contact with speedy replys. Cant fault this place at all! Better than any hotel or motel could ever offer. Huge thank you from the Kawau whanau and the Collins kids.

Really close to Napier town itself so nipping around wasn't a problem. The house was big, warm, roomy and had everything we needed. Very safe area for walking, riding bikes etc with young ones. We'd highly recommend it as a place to stay and would love to return when we next holiday in Napier.
