“Sadly have to agree with previous feedback this place needs some upgrades.”

The blinds are damaged and only cover half the window so your woken by light in the morning and hard to get kids to bed at night. Also needs aircon to avoid mosquitoes at night. Beds are past their best as well as some of the kitchen pans. Lastly the entry/parking is a bit odd, having to park under the piles of the house and duck under the baseboards to get to the front door stairs or the green grass area.

Hi Clare. Thank you for leaving your feedback on your holiday spent at this property. We have shared your comments regarding the facilities with the local team and property owner. The blinds are replaced every couple of years and are checked after every booking. We are confident that these are not broken. Guests will be able to see that the blinds cover the majority of the windows in the bedrooms, however the house's sloped roof means that covering the whole window would be very tricky. On the mosquitos, Kaiteriteri is unfortunately host to a lot of unwelcome insects in the height of summer. Our local manager has shared that there is a contact number at the property which can be used if there are any issues like this during the stay. Your point on air conditioning is valid and will be discussed with the property owner. There is also a pathway around the side of the house which is recommended for use to access the property, rather than entering from the underside. Thanks again for your review and we hope that with these concerns addressed we might host you again in the near future. Bachcare
