Gareth “Awesome house thanks we did have a great time.”
...but a few things may need fixing. The shower tube in bottom bathroom came off in my hand when adjusting the height, the dishwasher needs attaching to something as the whole thing leans forward when door is down, 100 % need some fans or ideally air condition unit. When you pay that much money in summer(and I know we paid more as it's peak season) but it was so hot in the house and especially bedrooms. Need to close windows at night to stop insects coming in and it was sweltering. Could even get a blind or something in the upstairs bathroom as it is seriously like a sauna up there in the evenings with the sun blasting in. The body wash was very hot when squirted out. So that was quite disappointing. The lady who looks after the house kindly loaned us 3 fans from her house so it was our savior. But we enjoyed our time away so thank you.
- Gareth, January 2024-sarah-jane “We were disappointed that there was quite a lack of basic cooking supplies - like some basic herbs & spices, milk & dishcloths.”
Also thought there may be some basic board games or books for entertainment with bad weather.
- -sarah-jane, October 2023Gianluca “Great house with plenty of room for a family.”
Would highly recommend.
- Gianluca, January 2022Charlotte “Not as clean as last time we stayed here (12 months ago) but still a nice secluded quiet location.”
Love the birdlife. We also love the walking track that takes 15min to get down to the camping ground and through to the main beach.
- Charlotte, January 2022Domini “The outside area was very uncared for.”
Rubbish lying around old boxes plastic tea pots!! the recycle was not emptied and the bbq was dirty we did not use this. Inside was clean and tidy but only on the surface, one rubbish bag for 7 people and 6 nights, not enough linen even though we paid for linen. Very poor contact from Bach care, we had no emails or contact of how to checkin prior to our arrival and after emails and messages that are not replied to we found an emergency number. Bach care really let this property down.
- Domini, November 2021james “Great property to relax in and enjoy the peace and quiet.”
A few minutes out of Kaiteriteri Beach but being greeted by weka, kereru, quail, tui's makes it worthwhile. We went as a sports team and the space was great.
- james, November 2021Stephen “Loved our stay - native Bush and birds at the door.”
Plenty of in door and outdoor living space to enjoy.

- Kim, February 2021Charlotte “We enjoyed staying in this peaceful setting.”
A comfortable house with everything we needed. 15min walk to the beach and 10min bike to the bike park worked well for our family. Looking forward to coming back next year already.

- Megan and Phil, September 2020Dharmesh “A great stay in the peaceful hillside of Kaiteriteri.”
The space is very large with plenty of space for the family, and is fully equipped, ready for you to move in. It was clean and tidy and very well laid out. the location is great, a stones throw away from Kaiteriteri isteslf or a short journey from motueka. Bachcare were very prompt with their messages and very clear regarding the stay. If you want a peaceful stay, overlooking the sea and surrounded by a peaceful forests, then this is the place fore you. Highly recommended.
