Anand “Everything if perfect and only one recommendation is carpet bit hard to walk.”
- Anand, May 2024 -
Meike “Great house for summer.”
Quiet and great views. Stayed with party of 7.
- Meike, March 2024Lisa “An absolutely stunning view, a clean , welcoming home with everything you need.”
We feel very privileged to stay in this Home.
- Lisa, January 2024Mandy “Really lovely spot, and lovely views, perfect for our two families.”
Very well equipped with everything you need.
- Mandy, December 2023Peter “Perfect location, very well equipped home and set out for a group the size that we had.”
Would definitely use again.
- Peter, November 2023James “Couldn’t get extractor working in en suite”
- James, July 2023Sally “The house was amazing.”
But it was not made clear at the time of booking that sheets and towels were not provided. At such a high nightly rate, I would have expected these inclusions. This info was found in the check in info that was received quite late and was made to be a very minor consideration. If no linen is included, the host should text or email specifically and check with guests well before arrival.
- Sally, March 2023Adrian “Great bach, great views, a wonderful stay.”
- Adrian, March 2023Ruth “Great location and very comfortable, perfect holiday home.”
- Ruth, February 2023Hamish “We had a great time.”
Very enjoyable holiday and the house has amazing views. There was plenty of room for 4 adults and 4 teenagers. The listing photos do not do the place justice, although this may be due to a recent extension to the living room areas and new decking. The only potential issue was parking which is really a maximum of two car parks with limited turn around space.
- Hamish, January 2023Vinny “Amazing location that suited our every need and views that took our breath away.”
Perfect for our group. The information needs updating though as there is no building site next door any more and exact directions are needed especially at the moment with the road closure. The major issue we had though was the solvent smell in the main living area which meant early nights as once it cooled down and the doors got closed we all got headaches very quickly and had to call it a night. The place needs to be well ventilated till this fades for future guests.
- Vinny, November 2022Stuart “Great spot to relax with a awesome view”

- Alamein, November 2020James “Great spot, plenty of great views nice atmosphere would recommend”
- James, September 2020Pam “The house slept our 8 friends but the living room space is not enough for 8 people, very tiny living area”
- Pam, July 2020Nicole “A beautiful home, with fantastic views over Kaiterteri, presented to an excellent standard and supplied with everything you would need for your stay.”
Excellent indoor, outdoor flow on warm days, the living area could be a little snug for large groups on rainy days but it was no issue for our stay. Would definitely book it again.
- Nicole, January 2020Stephanie “Lovely home - the external access isn't a major issue unless you're there for a weekend when it downpours (like us!”
) but it was at least sheltered on one side of the house at all times.
- Stephanie, November 2019We're so pleased to hear that you enjoyed the house. Shame the weather wasn't great during your stay but we would love to welcome you back again to thr property. Hopefully you'll have great weather the next time you visit! Bachcare

The Bach felt very homely and welcoming. The view overlooking Kaiteriteri was exceptional from sunrise to sunset. Very comfy beds too. I will definitely recommend this Bach to anyone wanting a memorable stay at the foot of the Abel Tasman. Thank you!
- Erwan, March 2019Jo “A beautiful property that is exactly as it looks in the photos.”
The house is well equipped and well maintained. We loved the design with bedrooms and bathroom being accessed from outside deck. Everyone has their own space and privacy. Great sheltered sunny outdoor entertaining area off living area and opposite is deck with amazing view of Kaiteriteri Beach. We loved the house and had a wonderful relaxing stay.

This beautifully presented Kaiteriteri holiday home is simple, fresh and relaxed, designed to let in lots of natural light. Perfectly set up for a summer getaway, the Glass House has all the mod-cons you'll need. The bedrooms are uniquely linked by two stunning 'external hallways' running along two spacious decks. As you walk along you'll find a bunk room with enough room for eight people, and two bedrooms - one with a king bed and ensuite and the other with a queen bed. The living area at this Kaiteriteri accommodation is well appointed, tasteful, and ideally suited for checking out the pristine view. Kick back and relax with a DVD or TV show, or admire the artwork dotted around the Glass House. A bench dining table with room for the whole family sits next to the modern kitchen, where you have all the mod cons needed, including an oven, microwave, and even a dishwasher (so you won't have to worry about the dishes afterwards!). There are children's games and toys to keep them entertained as you cook dinner in the kitchen, or take the fun outside and enjoy a BBQ on the deck. (Please note that for safety reasons, the outdoor fire is not available for guest use). Kaiteriteri sits on the western side of Tasman Bay and is close to both Abel Tasman and Kahurangi National Parks (can you hear those native birds singing already?). The pretty town of Motueka is a 20-minute drive away, and Nelson is a little over an hour's drive away, making it the perfect destination for a day trip. Feeling like you need a respite from the hustle and bustle of big city life? Then it's time to escape to The Glass House!
