Scott “Great holiday home, we had an enjoyable time.”
- Scott, January 2024 -
Diana “Really nice place.”
Beautiful garden. Really spacious and relaxing house. A few of the amenities could be updated. Some outsiee lights need replacing. Some sharper knives would be great. Also a second key for larger groups...but otherwise fantastic!
- Diana, February 2023Patrick (Piercy) and Penelope “Well equipped, comfortable, clean, wonderful gardens, great location for the end of our Abel Tasman walk.”
- Patrick (Piercy) and Penelope, February 2023Annette “Lovely home and fantastic location.”
Would have liked to stay longer. Maybe another time
- Annette, February 2023Abdul “Great location, easy walking distance to the start of Abel Tasman walk.”
Large, comfortable place with 2 living areas. pretty well equipped kitchen and great outdoor space, including a deck off the living room. The Internet speed is slow - most likely due to the remote location, but reasonable 4G coverage (thanks Spark!!), so all good. The only negative was that the hosts didn't provide shower gels (body wash)
- Abdul, December 2022Michael “Great spot for a family Christmas break.”
Thanks for sharing.
- Michael, December 2022Anthony “A good place for extended whānau of all ages.”
Separate areas to relax including good outdoor spaces. Weather was a bit hit & miss just before Xmas but the house made that bearable. Easy walk to Abel Tasman track and immediate facilities. Kitchen well appointed but needs several light bulbs replacing as it was a bit gloomy but that is the only slightly negative aspect of an otherwise great four night stay.
- Anthony, December 2022Christina “Seven of us stayed at this lovely home.”
Very roomy and great there was a second lounge. Enjoyed the beautiful garden, the birds and tranquil setting. Very handy to Marahau- just a short walk to the start of Abel Tasman track and the cafe. Highly recommended.
- Christina, November 2021Ross “Peaceful location a short distance from the coast with the tranquil sound of the river and birdlife”
- Ross, January 2021Catherine “A large, well appointed home.”
Very handy to Marahau and the start of the Abel Tasman track.
- Catherine, January 2020Debbie “We found Paradise!”
! We absolutely loved our stay here and wished we could have stayed longer. The views, serenity, birdlife, and pure bliss made for a fantastic family weekend away. Very well equipped home, lovely and spacious, with the beach very close by. Absolutely loved every minute of our stay here and will definitely be back. Clare from Bachcare was an absolute pleasure to deal with.
- Debbie, September 2019Clare “Lovely weekend spend in an ideal location.”
- Clare, July 2019Melanie “This is a lovely spacious property in a gorgeous tranquil setting.”
Two lounges and a fabulous deck, all great for hanging out. Not the best stocked kitchen, cutlery and knives going rusty and potato peelers unusable. Local agent Claire was fabulous!
- Melanie, January 2019Judith “A beautiful peaceful place to stay.”
The house is well set out. We had 3 couples and 2 children. With the many outdoor seating areas, the two lounges and the 3 bathrooms it meant we all had enough space. Lovely sitting on the deck listening to the birds. Would highly recommend.
