“We just enjoyed a wonderful stay here.”
We were lucky enough to be able to add an extra day at the front. We emailed a couple days before our trip. It was added that day with no problems. The house was big, open ,spacious, plenty of room for 2 families to enjoy the beach. The kids loved the bunk room and their "secret" room with the TV. My husband was missing having his own TV, but the beach was the reason we chose this place. The kids walked back and forth from the beach throughout the day. It was an easy walk and luckily the street ...

The house was big, open ,spacious, plenty of room for 2 families to enjoy the beach. The kids loved the bunk room and their "secret" room with the TV. My husband was missing having his own TV, but the beach was the reason we chose this place. The kids walked back and forth from the beach throughout the day. It was an easy walk and luckily the street wasn't very busy when crossing. We struggled a bit with the dishwasher. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. They had a repair man there during our stay but he was missing the part needed. We couldn't get the stove to turn on, but one quick message to the owners and we were quickly told about a light switch to run it. The house has a beautiful view. The windows and doors let plenty of air throughout. It felt nice and cool, even in the hottest part of the day. We would definitely stay here again. I've already recommended this Bach to family and friends.

Very clean and tidy, with fantastic facilities and a relaxed coastal vibe. It was perfect for our family Christmas and the kids were able to play on the reserve across the road and walk down to the beach. When we had queries, we received prompt helpful responses despite it being Christmas! Highly recommended.

Upon check in the home was a bit dirty, as if someone cleaned it awhile ago and hasn’t checked on it since. There were many dead bugs on the floor and the bedding and there was something that appeared to us to be black mold on the shades. They came and said it was just dust but we did not feel comfortable staying and left early to our expense. They did offer a small refund but not enough for the time we lost. The home would be great if someone put some time into updating the elements.. blankets that don’t have holes.. new towels.. a thorough cleaning etc. the squeegee in the basement was covered in black sludge and was really gross. Please replace that. Langs beach itself was beautiful but this stay was not a highlight of our many trips to NZ.

Beautiful home, great living spaces and stunning view of the ocean right from the lounge/bedroom and living area. Fully equipped kitchen, with modern appliances, cooking and serving utensils. Tennis court close by was a bonus and also loved the complementary wine. Highly recommended home. We will be back !

Booked this beautifl paradise for a Waipu weekend wedding and it accommodated everyone so well. Very clean, modern and it had everything we needed. A peaceful paradise with lots of seperate spaces/rooms for those who want to enjoy their quiet or a midday nap alongside those who want to swim all day long! Made a great difference having the outdoor warm shower for our morning and afternoon swimmers. We loved this place and lovely neighbours!

The location was amazing and the house was exceptionally well furnished and equiped. It was also great to find a place large enough for 9, that was fully equipped for that number. Some minor feedback is that the sheets used downstairs felt clammy. It’s hard to describe properly, but the felt a bit odd if that makes sense. Also, the upstairs shower drain was clogged so we had to clear it.

It is clean and modern that is perfectly located right across the road from the beach. Sitting outside on the deck in the afternoon with wine and nibbles while the kids play in the grass park make for a relaxing time. The house had everything we needed and we will be back and recommend to others.

..awesome. It worked really well for our big family, we even had a big lunch on the deck for my mum's 70th. The kayak, surfboards and bogey boards all got great use. Fantail bushwalk behind the house was lovely too, with Tui from the bush coming down and joining us for our morning coffee. Thanks very much for sharing a special spot. Regards, Reuben

Just across the road from the beach and lovely view of the sea from the upstairs balcony. Plenty of room for us to hang out and the kitchen was very well kitted out with pots, utensils etc. Hope to stay again!

Had all the amenities to make the stay comfortable. Great spot for watching the evening go by and perfect view of the water/beach from the deck. Spacious with various rooms for kids and adults to have their zones for everyone to enjoy the holiday.
