“This is a nice house with plenty of space and a private backyard.”
However, the cleanliness was pretty poor. Our toddlers found a vape pen under the bed, there were lots of cobwebs and the outside needed a good clean. There were no heaters in the bedrooms or warm blankets on beds which is essential for a winter getaway.

We found mouldy apple cores under the single beds when checking on our departure. Unfortunately we could not use the bbq as it was rusty. There was a stain on the mattress protector in the main bedroom and the sill was very dirty behind The Venetian blinds. It was not a cheap rental and the cleaning charge should be enough get this to a better standard.

The process to prove that we didn’t do it has been very complicated and lengthy, while I hope to use Bachcare for future holidays, a clearly faulty and inaccurate claim system makes me worried in the future that I may get claimed again for damaging something that I nor my guests had any part in doing. While it was an amazing bach and holiday in Mangawhai, I hope to have the issue resolved and the damage claim dropped as again I nor my guests used the wardrobe at all and have not damaged the at all. It has left a very sour taste to an overall great stay.

Cosy, comfy and loads of space and fun for all the family. We did have quite a problem with ants, particularly in the pantry so could not use that for food storage at all. Also quite a lot of chipped cups and plates that maybe should be removed. But still nothing to dent a very pleasant stay. I'm sure we'll be back!

! Big and spacious enough with all the basics you need. The outdoor flow is STUNNING with umbrellas...tables...stretchers, etc. ..Each one can have their own private space while still enjoying each other...The rooms are adequate and big enough. I had actually packed glass dishes etc which I didn't even use as the property had everting we needed. kids were entertained as the house had board games and children's DVD's available as well as snorkeling gear and skateboards.

We loved the indoor-outdoor flow and outdoor setting with its loungers and umbrellas. The whole house felt comfortable and luxurious and more importantly - easy! Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.
The property
