“What an incredible view and piece of land!”
I am a Mangawhai local who had guests to stay, very generous/impressed having 3 bathrooms in the house, would have loved to stay longer. Couple of bits of feedback from the girls was the deep cleaning jobs that seem to be overdue - under beds, sink drains, behind doors. And quite a few of the lightbulbs were blown. And it would be amazing to have a bit more outdoor furniture - with a view like that, who doesn't want to be out there to enjoy it.

Nicholas “We had a fantastic stay here!”
The house has three great big bedrooms and a fourth huge master bedroom with ensuite. The views from the lounge, kitchen and master bedroom out over the estuary are amazing. The house is very well equipped with everything you would need and there is a lovely garden too. The only minor feedback I would give is that the hot water in the showers wasn’t working very well, but didn’t really matter as we were happy to cool off from the heat during our stay. Overall, definitely a five stars place with some of the best views in town

The downstairs is great for getting all your valuables out of sight and under cover. One letdown was the water pressure in all the showers, so much so that we lodged a fault with the property managers. We have no issue paying the requested rent but are unlikely to rebook unless work is done to generate a reasonable flow of water, this is well below what we would expect.

We felt that it could have been a bit cleaner but it didn't really worry us. I found the stove really difficult to operate but apart from that the kitchen facilities were good. Maybe some instructions for the stove would be helpful. The two big beds were really comfy. Some sun loungers on the deck in summer would be lovely as the view is just fantastic. All in all we had a really nice stay. I suppose just a few funky little touches would make a huge difference to the ambience of this property.

The extractor fan filters were full of flies. Fridge was dirty. Mattress protectors and duvets need a clean/replacing. Highly recommend bach care source a better cleaner.

Superb view and location and good sized house perfect for a large family or a few couples. Lovely and clean with plenty of crockery etc and off street parking. Only thing missing is outdoor furniture and take your jandals in summer as the lawn is full of onehunga weed so beware the prickles. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay and would come again. Two small negatives: The floors were quite dirty as walking barefoot collected lots of debris on our feet, which would have been ok, except we paid an astronomical cleaning fee, so would have expected a very clean experience upon our arrival. Secondly, my husband, daughter and I all got quite bad splinters from sitting/playing on the deck so it needs to be sanded for safety.

Edson “The low pressure when using the shower's hot water must be fixed.”
I have seen some complaints regarding this and it is still not fixed. This is the only thing that I can complain about. All the rest is excellent.

Location is spot on and just an easy stroll to shops or beach. Warm house considering its the middle of winter. Comfy bedding. And most importantly you can't beat the all day sun and views along with all the comforts of home.

Loved the spacious house with plenty of amenities on offer and the views were to die for. Such a convenient spot with shops in very close proximity yet still peaceful being so close to the estuary. The back of the property looks across to the estuary but this cannot be accessed due to the drop off at the edge of the section. Adults should closely supervise young children while outside as there is a straight drop after the flax bushes.
