Jane “Hi, We left a note at the property as well which stated.”
.. things we loved: * that there were basic supplies available for use - kitchen, bathroom. * the layout of the kitchen, dining, family room made the space very usable * the bath- so deep and so luscious * coathangers available in the wardrobe * that the heating was already turned on for us things that could be improved: * the upstairs bedrooms are very cold, they don't have heating and no electric blankets either. * the wifi. .. things we loved: * that there were basic supplies available for use - kitchen, bathroom. * the layout of the kitchen, dining, family room made the space very usable * the bath- so deep and so luscious * coathangers available in the wardrobe * that the heating was already turned on for us things that could be improved: * the upstairs bedrooms are very cold, they don't have heating and no electric blankets either. * the wifi. I don't know what the issue is but it wasn't very consistent. There were some devices that just couldn't get access at all while there were two that got access at the start of the week but then couldn't access for the second half. The message was "unable to connect". * instructions on using the lights (having to hold the button to turn them on) I know that there were other things that I wrote on the sheet I left at the property but I can't remember them right now. This was an awesome house in a great location - close to the city and the bus stops. The hill is a killer to climb but a taxi is only $14 from town if you don't get the Otago cabs (they cost $33, no idea why). Summary for online: My family of 5 stayed in this property for a week of skiing and sight seeing. We loved the closeness of the bus stop and the city, particularly the ability to get any bus heading toward the city and the frequency with which they arrived. We got our bee cards at the airport as we came in, it was a quick and easy process, the bus system is easy to navigate and the bee card makes the fares very cheap. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen incredibly well equipped. The bath is to die for, I am 175cm tall and could fully submerge myself - it's like a hot tub at home! The views are incredible, sitting on the couch in the lounge you can watch the skyline gondolas through one window and look out over the lake through the other. Standing in the kitchen it was magical to see a single cloud floating over the lake with the moutains in the distance. It was a lovely surprise to see that there were various condiments and kitchen basics available for us to use such as salt, pepper, soy sauce etc. If we were coming back to Queenstown we would definitely stay here again. If you have any questions, let me know. Jane
