    “I had booked the property without linen supplied as we have done for each of the previous 4 stays at this property, Feb 16th email from Bachcare advised that all linen / towels were "taken care of " and we only needed beach towels.”

    This was a departure from the booking but being Feb 16th for a visit on Feb 23rd I took this as accurate. We arrived at the property, no linen supplied (as booked) and Bachcare unable to assist. Very disappointed.

    Thank you for your review Dave, we appreciate your feedback. Upon looking into this matter further, I can see that the team sent you an email in January regarding the 'key collection' email and mentioned this auto generated email did not apply to you as your booking was made before mandate linen came into effect. As we do have specific lead times for linen ordering as well unfortunately on this occasion we were unable to provide linen last minute and your booking was originally made with the request to bring your own linen. Linen

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

The living areas are spacious, open and inviting with plenty of room for the whole family to get into holiday mode. The kitchen features everything you need for cooking up delicious holiday meals, and there is a BBQ on hand to grill what you've caught in the lake. Lakeside Landing comes complete for WiFi, heat pump/air conditioning and a dishwasher, so your lakeside holiday has those must-have comforts of home. Lake Tarawera is a Scenic Reserve located 20 minutes southeast of Rotorua. The Lake is well known for stunning scenery, trout fishing, water sports and bush walks and is a great base from which to explore all the other lakes as well as mountain biking in the Redwoods Forest. Come to Lakeside Landing - hear the native birdsong and pretty soon you'll be singing its praises, too!

As the property has unfenced access to the lake, adults should closely supervise young children while outside to ensure they are safe around water.

About the location

Surrounded by hills and native forest, Lake Okareka is one of the smaller of the Rotorua Lakes, and one less visited by tourists. Because of this, it is a great place to escape from the hustle and bustle of life and refresh yourselves. Family activities close by include everything Rotorua has to offer such as the Skyline Luge, Fairy Springs and Zorb. All of our Lake Okareka holiday homes are pre-inspected prior to your arrival and are ready for instant online booking.
