! We really liked the two seperate levels with two kitchens and bathrooms. This way we could have one family upstairs and another downstairs. The smart tvs were also great as we had wet weather during our summer stay but we were not short on things to watch for all ages. The beds were super comfy and it was nice to have mirrors in each. Only thing was the couch on the lower level seems weathered and old. Not as nice as the couch located upstairs. Overall, great stay!

! The property manager Kylie was great and so helpful. We ended up arriving later than expected so Kylie turned the lights and the heaters on in the house, was so cozy when we arrived! The space was excellent and the house has everything you would want. Many decks around with beautiful views of the Sea. Close to shopping centers.

The property was clean and tidy. It was very spacious with 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 kitchens and 2 lounges, it suited our family for a wonderful holiday. Everyone commented on how comfy all the beds were. With the house not far from the beach it made the property a perfect place to stay. We would thoroughly recommend this place

Especially at times like Xmas when it is all about catching up with Family. If you were renting to 20 somethings I would be hesitant to ok "gatherings" But we are 60 plus in charge of the property and we are not going to let anything happen to the property as this will come back on us. But we felt a bit like being back at school trying to get the ok to have my family come over for drinks on my daughters 26th birthday. (Boxing Day) We only had 5 of us staying there the whole time, but had to rent a property that slept 10 just so we could have a few people over on boxing day. Just for the day. No one else slept there. Just the 5 of us. I just think that is wrong. I understand, but I just think it should be ruled on, on a case by case.

The house is great, but our experience with them was terrible. We agreed on a special price if we rent the house for at least 8 weeks. They even told us that we could let them know when we were ready for the second booking of 4 weeks and they would proceed with payment. When we intended to do this, they told us the house was already booked. We had to call them several times, as they promised they would see the issue and contact us back. They didn't. For this reason, when whe knew we were going to need 4 extra weeks we did it in advanced. We were ask to have a middle-stay cleaning, which we agreed and paid for it (a service of 4.75 hrs of cleaning). They came and do a very basic superficial cleaning which took them 2 hours tops only (we were in the house when the cleaning was held) but then they wanted to charge us for 15 extra minutes of cleaning. We contacted them and the only reply was: "sorry seems we misquotated the cleaning hours". No explanation. Now we left the house, and we left it in an standard way, we only left behind a bunch of food and cleaning products we couldn't take with us. They told us because of that cleaning took 16 extra hours. Thus a total of 20 hrs of cleaning. Really? This can't be serious, how long it takes to chuck stuff in a rubbish bag? 1 hour? We are very sorry about our experience, as Mount Maunganui and the House were incredible, However we left with the feeling that their policy is: "we will try to charge as much as we can to our customers, and if they don't say anything, better". How can you trust a business like this? I have seen that many customers have complained for similar reasons. It's a pitty that a business is run in such a poorly manner.

As the cleanliness of our houses is of utmost importance to us and future guests, we ask that houses are left in a tidy manner and rubbish is regularly put out during long term bookings. However, in this case the house required an entire deep clean including all blinds, kitchen cupboards cleaned inside and out, and as rubbish had not been removed from the property for the entirety of the stay, this necessitated several hours to remove. There was hazardous waste left in the bathrooms. All of this was communicated prior to charging, and a warning was given about the state of the house and likelihood of extra cleaning after the mid-stay clean to give you the opportunity to bring it up to standard. We are glad to hear you otherwise enjoyed the house and area. Bachcare
