Colin “Very lovely house.”
Clean and tidy, our only, problem was the toilet which was very slow to fill so we had to top,up the cistern every time we flushed. We were all adults so coped with it. The pantry was very well stocked and we had a lovely stay. Thank you very much.

George “We booked 2 nights' accommodation for a family of 5 on Waiheke Island to attend a family wedding.”
We travelled from Sydney to attend the wedding. The day we arrived I received an email saying our checking-in has been delayed by 1 hour from 3 to 4pm (not happy). Once we had access to the house we discover that we have no water supply at all! After many phone calls to the Bachcare customer service team nothing is done even though I am promised return phone calls with a resolution - I had to call every time to follow up. It was not until 10:30am the following day (the day of the wedding) that the water supply is restored by the property manager (apparently it was a tripped circuit for the water pump). In the meantime, we could not even bath/use the bathroom to prepare for a pre-wedding dinner that evening It was a total disruption to our stay and what made it worst was the way Bachcare handled this situation. It is unacceptable to offer a house with no water supply for hygienic reasons for over 20 hours. The house also needs better regular maintenance with a broken tap handle in the kitchen and batteries that do not work in remotes. I am still trying to seek some form of adequate compensation for our bad experience from Bachcare but my emails are being ignored and after speaking with the Bachcare customer service team again, they deflect responsibility to another department that never responds. I would not recommend using Bachcare, save yourself the pain and go elsewhere.
- George, March 2023Thank you for your review George we're very sorry to hear of the issues you encountered with the water supply. We have addressed the problems you have raised with our local team and the issue has been fixed. We are pleased to come to a resolution with you directly. We hope that despite all this you were able to have an enjoyable holiday. Bachcare
Sarah “We had issues accessing the property as Bachcare did not provide the lockbox code in webmail so had to call and was given the wrong code initially.”
Also didn't realize this house has no washing machine/laundry, which wasn't ideal for a week long stay. The house is otherwise very nice and centrally located. Would recommend for a short stay trip.
- Sarah, January 2023Thank you for your review,Sarah. We're sorry to hear about the issues you experienced with accessing the property. We have raised this with our team and have worked to improve this process so this doesn't happen again. We do hope we can host you again in the future. Bachcare
Crystal “Great location and has everything you need”
- Crystal, December 2022Andrew “Nice property but cold and dark in the afternoon.”
The delay in being given access instructions until 2.30pm was stressful and unnecessary.
- Andrew, October 2022Katie “The property was lovely clean and tidy.”
No laundry facilities. We will be very unlikely to book with Bachcare again. The email confirmation prior to arrival was incomplete and resulted in multiple phone calls to find out how we would access the property on arrival. Also we arranged linen, seperate from the initial booking, we have a child with severe allergies (they can not use items from commercial laundry) we had no option of adding linen for just the adults so I made contact and emailed confirmation for the charge to be made for linen to my credit card. When we arrived no linen was at the property multiple phone calls made which ruined the start of our holiday as it was very stressful, especially being told by staff initially that it was my fault and they couldn't do anything to help. Regardless whose fault it is we had arrived and we had no linen, what did the staff member expect us to do. I had to call back multiple times to get something sorted so the afternoon/evening of our arrival was spent doing that instead of enjoying our holiday. We went out and pur hased hand towels from the local supermarket as we had nothing to dry our hands on.
- Katie, April 2022Fiona “A very comfortable property which sleeps a good number of people with space.”
The house and especially the kitchen was very well stocked and set up. And the location is fantastic, close to the beach, right near bus stops and with a diary and a pizza caravan only 5 mins walk away.
- Fiona, April 2022Christina “The bach is well equipped in the”
- Christina, January 2022Karen “Very clean tidy holiday home.”
Good location. Close to beach. Not heaps of sun I’m the middle of winter but very warm accommodation
- Karen, July 2021Stacey “This is a great location for Waiheke 5 mins walk from Littlw Oneroa.”
The house is well equipped but it lacks outdoor furniture to relax which is a downside. I think it’s a good winter option but less so for summer.
- Stacey, December 2020Jane “Good location, about 20 minutes walk into Oneroa but the road back up to the house from Little Oneroa is steep.”
The bus does stop pretty much outside the door on the plus side. House is lovely with nice decor and plenty of space in the lounge and kitchen. The bathroom is very small, though, if the maximum number of guests were staying.
- Jane, February 2019Hi Jane, yes that hill from the beach is a good workout, best to walk down and get the bus back up! Bachcare
GDPR “We loved the house and the house was so well equipped.”
More utensils than in our own house! Having the stereo, tv and Netflix’s was fantastic too - great for kids to chill out in the evening after a busy day. The house was clean and tidy. The bbq and washing machine was awesome too. It was also an excellent position. Just needed a recycling bin.
- GDPR, January 2019Rowan “Lovely property within easy walking of little oneroa beach and 5 minutes into oneroa.”
Plenty of room and everything you need for a great get away.
