We didn't use the BBQ at all but we did our best to put it back together as well as possible- it looked as though Cyclone Gabrielle took it for a ride. Lovely spot, cool decor; love the round chandelier in the main room. Thanks again for sharing your home with us- this is the second time we have stayed here and would definitely recommend this place to others.

The house was well appointed with great living. The walk back from the beach was good for working off the holiday indulgences. While pup friendly, the property is not fenced. This was easily resolved with makeshift kiddy gates on the deck. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery, glassware and utensils. The property manager was very accommodating, friendly and helpful. We would recommend both Bachcare and Onetangi Haven to other Waiheke holiday goers.

Good modern facilities, lots of space and easy to find ur way around the house. I’d highly recommend staying here if you have little children as there’s so much space and you won’t worry about where they are. Less than 5 mins from Onetangi Beach. Such a beautiful view too!

Would suggest a car is a must as the house is 400 metres from the beach up a fairly steep road. Mosquitos were a problem so repellent is a must have.

The host was standing by the door and the first thing that was mentioned was she is there to count the amount of people that entered the property and was very rude and abrupt. When I advised her we were there for a wedding & we have family staying up the rd she made a very rude and clear point that the neighbors were there to monitor us and they knew the owners. She then counted as we all walked in and attempted to show us around with what I would call a really bad attitude. Half way through the abrupt tour I then asked for what her name was. Moving along she then began to mention that the water tank will be filled at 10am and no one can shower until 11am. I then raised the concern of 8 people having a shower before 12 and she seemed very annoyed and had to reschedule it. On her exit out she turned and said I will be here at 10am so make sure you are ready to go there is no late check out here. Needless to say this is the worse introduction I have ever had to a family holiday and it was very disappointing. She returned the day of checkout and walked in whilst we were all exiting. No good morning, no how was your stay. "Can I have the keys? Lucky you have paid for cleaning I can throw that in the rubbish for you"(it was an empty shoe box). My disappointment with this customer service has deterred me from ever recommending this place and in future when I book in waiheke I will make sure she is not the person we will be directly dealing with and will seek accommodation elsewhere. The amount we paid and the occasion she really put a damper on our experience. My sister up the rd had a host turn up and she had nothing but wonderful things to say about her, we wish we had that. I am truly sorry for being brutally honest but I would hate another family to experience what we did.

Lovely elevated views and great distance from the beach so that the teenagers don't tramp the beach with them.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.
