Kim “We had a lovely stay, it was a lovely location, the views were amazing and access to the beach was very impressive.”
I think we should been advised beforehand that the sliding windows in the master bedroom didn't work, in fact all of the joinery was a little sad. The outside sun-lounger is probably on its last legs also, might be best to repair or replace before someone gets hurt. Rubbish man wasn't happy that rubbish was in with the recycling, wasnt us obviously, but we did empty the bin and sort, I think this should be checked between people staying.

Christine “We loved our four nights in Picnic Bay.”
The bach is delightful with a gorgeous view.
- Christine, February 2024Doug “Was lovely, great outlook and close to everything.”
- Doug, March 2023Diana “This is the perfect place to relax and unwind.”
The view is perfect, and the outdoor living spaces are excellent. We loved being able to walk down the steps to the little beach for swims. We’ll be back!
- Diana, January 2023Natalia “A good old batch with a beach access but the house is not private.”
There is no fence between the neighbors and I belive that the neighbors next door are not happy to have strangers near by.
- Natalia, December 2021Christine “My husband and I were disappointed with our stay!”
There was an overwhelming smell of carpet deodoriser throughout the house especially the main bedroom overlooking the view. It totally wrecked our stay. We tried sleeping in the main bedroom by opening doors and windows and got severely attacked by mozzies!!! My husband was going to sleep in the car at one stage(2am in the morning) A few screens over windows would have helped with mozzies. The other few nights we slept in the back bedroom with all windows shut and melted!! One wonders what smell was being covered up! I may be wrong but wondered it it was dog smell!! We acknowledge the view and access to the beach was great but the place is tired and not worth the money we paid for the 3 nights!!
- Christine, March 2021Thank you for your feedback Christine. We are sorry to hear about your experience at the property. We have checked the property and the smell is from a diffuser which can be moved and we have not found any other odours once the diffuser has been removed. Unfortunately, the mozzies do come out when it starts getting dark so we would not advise leaving windows and doors open but there is a fan at the property to help with ventilation and insect plugins for any insects that may come through. We do ask that you communicate any issues with your holiday manager for future stays so that we can help with resolving these matters immediately. We look forward to hosting you again. Bachcare

Bus stop close by as we had no car. Home had everything we needed. Communication was easy with Angela and nothing was too much trouble.Would recommend and stay again for longer.A perfect spot for our group of friends for a surprise birthday.

It is perfect for swimming or kayaking. We loved waking up to the view of the ocean right from the bedroom window. The bach is an older style lockwood home and was equipped with everything we needed. We hope to stay again soon. Angela from Bachcare was brilliant, extremely helpful and professional.
