Bed very comfortable and generally well equipped. We did note a few cockroaches in the bathroom and scullery which someone else has commented on so maybe time for some treatment.

The layout of the house was so perfect for 3 couples, each with either a toddler or a new bub. Lovely and warm and a great spot so close to the centre of Martinborough. Would love to stay again!

Our kids loved the pool and tennis facilities. One piece of constructive feedback - we were a group of three adults, five children so had booked the trundler beds for our youngest (both ten year olds), unfortunately the beds themselves were very hard (even with a thin foam topper) and not comfy at all - probably best suited to toddler-aged children. We would love to stay again if the trundler beds were replaced / improved. Thank you.

It was an ideal space for the group of friends to enjoy the sunshine, drink wine and catch up. Super clean, had everything you could ask for and super warm! Great location in regards to the Martinborough square and proximity to wineries etc. A lovely weekend with lovely accomodation!

The only issue we had was that we found 6 cockroaches during our stay throughout the weekend, in the bedroom (in one case the bed), the pantry in the kitchen, the bathroom, and the living room. I understand that we are in a rural space, but I would advise spraying the house so that future visitors do not have the same experience. Everything else was tidy.

Ran out of gas / hot water , heating my only grumble was if I had not continued to make contact we may of not had issue sorted over the weekend Once contact was made was fixed quickly My critique would be to have a local contact not the 0800 number that is obviously not checked outside office hours

Beds very comfortable and lovely deep bathtub. Heating was needed and the heatpump was much appreciated. There was plenty of lounge space for drinks and nibbles at the end of each day

The design provides ample living space, a sunny deck and it is well-insulated and warm too. We loved the additional extras like the tennis rackets, magazines and extra pillows. Highly recommended.

The house was perfect for our party of 4 adults and I would highly recommend this house to others. Kylie was helpful but not intrusive at all. The outdoor area could have had a trim before we arrived but given the time of year, the amount of rain and then heat in the Wairarapa it was not surprising that the garden had grown so much. The pool and tennis court are great facilities at hand, and we appreciated the pool after 5pm on some very hot days, a little quieter at the end of the day. The griselinia hedge behind the house provides a fantastic green wall which gives both privacy and shade. The replanting of griselinia along the boundary in front will provide a bit more privacy on the deck in time - but we were still very happy to take the chairs out under the olive trees for a cool place to read in the heat of the day. Would like to return at some stage, a lovely place to stay.

The house has big bedrooms and plenty of space to share as a group. Everything you need is provided, and the large deck and olive grove outside were perfect for the kids to run and play. Close enough to walk into town, we didn't use the pool or tennis courts but they are just over the road and looked awesome. Lloyd was really helpful, and just around the corner if needed. We would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.

The whole subdivision is lovely with a community pool that was warm, clean and well provisioned with seating and comfy loungers. Kids loved it.

It’s a great design and very new with everything you need supplied. The layout is very social with a central hub flanked by bedrooms either end. The only negative is that the boundary planting is still establishing so it’s it not yet completely private from the neighbors who can see directly into the house (easily solved by closing the curtains). The shared pool is fantastic. I would think twice about booking a house through Bachcare in the future due to the significant additional fees (50% over the listed price), and their policy of keeping guests credit card details on file for 90 days after departure. In fairness, this is all stated on the website and needs to be agreed to before you pay, but be aware when you are browsing that the listed price is significantly less than the price you will pay, and that there is a possibility you will be charged fees long after you have left.

Set in Pinot Grove Estate, Pinot Longbox is a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom Martinborough Holiday Home including heatpump, linen, Wi-Fi, and access to a swimming pool (summer only), a tennis court and a petanque court! This gorgeous Martinborough holiday home is modern and well appointed, with seamless outdoor flow for cruisy holiday living. There is ample heating for warm winter comfort, while the spacious deck is ideal for al fresco summers - kick back, relax, and admire the peaceful scenery! Bedroom 1 at this Martinborough accommodation includes an ensuite bathroom, and is fitted with a queen bed. Bedrooms 2 and 3 also have a queen bed, and there are 2 single rollaways available when required (only suitable for children). In addition to the master ensuite, a main bathroom services the remaining rooms. This is a fantastic set up for couples, family, and friends! The on-site facilities are a fantastic holiday addition - enjoy summers pool-side, keep active on the tennis court, or enjoy a friendly game of petanque (please note, these are shared facilities). When you're keen for some adventure, there is plenty to explore in the local area including vineyard and olive grove tours, scenic walks, and day trips to Cape Palliser... Pinot Longbox welcomes you for an upmarket Martinborough escape! *Please note that the maximum of 6 adults are allowed as the rollaway beds are only suitable for children.*

The swimming pool (fully fenced), tennis court and petanque are all shared facilities.
The swimming pool is available for use only between Labour weekend and May 1st. The access to the swimming pool requires a fob. Please contact our support office for instructions. The loss or damage of the the pool fob will incur a fee of NZD50 for the replacement.
