Getting to Your Marlborough Sounds Accommodation
To get to Marlborough Sounds, it will depend on where you’re coming from.
- Wellington: You can take a short 30 minute flight from Wellington to Picton or catch the inter-islander ferry which would take around 3 hours.
- Christchurch: You can drive by car from Christchurch which would take 4.5 hours, or hop on the coastal train (5.5 hour journey). You can also fly to Blenheim from Christchurch, with a 25 minute drive after.
- Auckland: Your best option from Auckland is to fly via Air New Zealand which has direct flights into Blenheim, followed by a 25 minute drive.
